                                    Helps insulin work properly – helps stabilize appetite and diabetes.

                                    Also plays a critical role in stimulating thermogenesis.  RDA

200mg / d.

 

                                    Immune stimulant.  Comes from the root of a flowering plant

                                    Strong indication that it helps prevent colds, flu and other

                                    infections.

 

                                    Numerous vitamins.  Known to deplete during times of stress.

                                    Helps build stamina.

 

                                    Great antioxidant protecting against damage to cell membrane.

                                    Works interactively with Vitamin E and Selenium.

 

                                    Most abundant mineral in our body RDA 1200mg / daily. 

                                    Builds and maintains bones and teeth as well as muscle

                                    contraction.

 

                                    Essential in the energy production within the cell.  Acts as an

                                    effective antioxidant.  Protects against atherosclerosis by

                                    preventing lipid formation.  Also helps increase thermogenesis

                                    most likely because it improves cellular respiration and

                                    consequent increase in cardiac output.

 

                                    Prevents pernicious anemia (large immature RBC’s) works with

                                    Folic acid in such bodily functions such as DNA synthesis,

                                    insulation of nerve endings, makes RBC’s .  RDA 2,000 mg.

                                    daily.  Needs intrinsic factor for absorption.

 

                                    Useful to support adrenal function often called the “anti stressor”

                                    Also know to lower cholesterol and help in Rheumatoid arthritis
